Ghost of Tsushimais full of choices, fromJin’s armor all the way down to what kind of reputation players want to grow; though the choices are diverse, they’re all made through combat decisions. Haiku give players the chance to embrace the samurai way and experience all sides of the warrior, expressing their feelings about certain topics. They can choose the lines and create haiku that are unique to them.

Despite the immersive experience characters get, headbands are also awarded for every haiku completed and can add a nice touch to an already customized look. The only downside is the remote locations players have to travel to reach them, despite the beautiful scenery that comes with it. Knowing the locations will cut down on travel time and take the stress out of the search, with more time to sharpen their sword skills in the meantime.
15Hiyoshi (2)
Home to two of the haiku locations, the first location is just South of the Old Woodsman’s Canopy and East of Kukai’s Falls. At the top of the falls on the Eastern side, players will have to complete the haiku and receive the Headband of Hope.
The second is only available by talking to a man that sits on a rock to the North of Hiyoshi Springs, he’ll trigger the event by calling out to Jin as he approaches.Easy to missbut it’s supposed to be the first haiku seeing as he offers somewhat of a tutorial, players will receive the Headband of Serenity for completion.

14Ariake
Lake Izuhara isthe most immediately available locationat the very beginning of Act 1, once it’s reached a long stone walk should appear. Cross the torii gate and walk past a group of birds and the haiku location should reveal itself. As soon as the haiku is completed players will be rewarded with the Headband of Refuge.
13Azamo
Southeast of the Kuta Grasslands, players will find 2 waterfalls found along the coast. A small ledge juts out at the bottom containing the haiku location,this will concern invasion. The Headband Of the Invasion becomes available once it’s completed. One of Act 1’s first available haiku, players can start accessorizing early.
12Tsutsu
Located directly West of Lake Kunehama, a cliff looks over the Ohama Fishing Village on the coast. Here lies the Haiku location that will invite Jin to reflect on death.

Once the player completes the haiku the Headband of Death becomes available. It’s the earliest haiku location players can find outside of the main quest.
11Komatsu
North of the Takuzudama Cemetery, close to the Western mouth of the Brown River at the Black Sands Inlet lies the Komatsu haiku location. At the point where the river splits, the player will have to write about Strife. Unlocking the Strife Headband, players are one step closer to a full wardrobe.
10Kashine
A little further inland this time, North of the Shigenori Peak, players will be surrounded with miscellaneous tasks to complete. A Pillar of Honour and a haiku are located here, making Jin reflect on Fear this time. The Headband of Fear is now available, allowing the player to clean up some other tasks around the area.
9Komoda
Players must travel to Wolf Cub Falls just South of the Trader’s Forest and Northwest of Kashine Hills. A ledge juts out over the calming pond and reveals the haiku location. The Headband of Defeat is available upon completion and enjoy the pleasant view while Jin has the high ground.
8Akashima
Just South of Old Kanazawa Marsh besides the fox den lies the next haiku location. Players must travel to the mouth of the river leading onto the ocean, right beside the straw hat duel.

The haiku is on a raised rock formation that grants a view of the landscape, giving Jin a chance to reflect on Uncertainty and unlocking the subsequent headband.
7Umugi
Right in the middle of the vibrant Field of The Equinox Flower lies a rock holding the haiku location. North of Lady Sanjo’s Bridge and across the river from the Ijima Swamp, players will complete a haiku on Perseverance and unlock the matching headband. If players struggle it’s in the center of two bodies of water.
6Otsuna
At the edge of a stream that connects to the Musashi Coast, players will find the haiku on a ledge situated under a tree. The Headband of Survival will become available and players canquickly travel to the neighboring monastery, upgrading Jin’s wardrobe while pondering the main theme of the game.
