Released on June 5,Genshin Impact’sVersion 4.7 updatemarks the return of Dainsleif, a central character in the storyline involving the lost land of Khaenri’ah. The new update also introduces five-star playable characters Clorinde and Sigewinne in the first and second phases respectively, alongside the new four-star character Sethos. Alhaitham and Furina also receive reruns for a limited time.

The officialGenshin ImpactTwitter account notified players that a new tools update is now live in HoYoLab alongside Version 4.7, introducing the all-new HoYoSketch feature. HoYoSketch lets players customize their own personalized name cards with tags, stickers, and other options to share with otherGenshin Impactfans. The tools update also adds building guides for Clorinde, Sethos, and other drop-boosted characters forthe first phase ofGenshin ImpactVersion 4.7, allowing players to plan out their next grinding session for materials and determine their best possible team composition. HoYoverse also confirms that the second phase of Version 4.7 will go live on June 25, and a building guide entry for Sigewinne will be available once the phase begins.
Genshin Impact Releases New Tools Update for Version 4.7
HoYoWiki has been updated withinformation aboutGenshin ImpactVersion 4.7, including lore entries, bios, and voice lines for Clorinde and Sethos. The Battle Chronicle tool was also updated with an entry for Version 4.7’s new Imaginarium Theater event, giving players access to event records they can review at any time.
The Enhancement Progression Calculator now calculates the level-up materials needed for Clorinde and Sethos, and an entry for Sigewinne will be available on June 25. HoYoLab’s Lineup Simulator tool was also updated to account for the arrival of the aforementioned playable characters.

Players can expect another tool update whenGenshin ImpactVersion 4.8arrives in mid-July. Leaks suggest a new temporary zone for the summer event will be available in Version 4.8 alongside a new Nilou skin, a new type of character cosmetic, and a free playable character to claim. EachGenshin Impactupdate introduces new playable characters as well, so HoYoverse will likely update the game’s existing tools to help players learn more about the characters and their strengths and weaknesses.
