AGenshin Impactplayer manages to float through the game’s ceiling. There are a good number of bugs andglitches that plague video games. Some of them can be incredibly frustrating and game breaking, while others can be rather amusing.
One type of glitch that can happen in a lot of video games has to do with clipping through a title’s boundaries. Sometimes players will find themselves outside the confines of a game’s intended world, breaking through the borders that were established by developers. OneGenshin Impactplayerdid this by floating through the top of the RPG’s world, reaching an area they were not supposed to.

A Reddit user named Puhoyy uploaded a video of them going throughGenshin Impact’sestablished boundaries. The user transforms into the character Scaramouche and floats upwards. Eventually the player hits the area’s ceiling, but instead of stopping, they continue to move higher. Puhoyy breaks through the game’s barrier and lands on top of the area they were in. All around them are clouds and a blue void that seems to go on forever. The rest of the clip involves the player messing around with the glitch, as they experiment with it and go into areas they are not supposed to have access to.
Reddit is having fun with Puhoyy’s clip and have enjoyed it enough to get it to nearly 3,000 upvotes. One user joked thatScaramouche’spotential is through the roof, while another stated that the video is instructions on how to rob a bank. A gamer brought up the point that the character provides potential when it comes to breaking the boundaries of various areas and being able to explore places that players were not intended to go.
The ceiling glitch involving Scaramouche is one of the many that can be found in the RPG. AnotherGenshin Impactbugwas found, this time involving Aether and one of the game’s gliders. In the clip that was uploaded by turtle_turtwig, Aether can be seen tumbling through the air. Eventually the video shows the character spinning in circles while floating in midair, which get significantly faster as the clip goes on. It is humorous seeing Aether flipping through the air in the video, moving in ways that should not be possible while on a glider. Both Puhoyy and turtle_turtwig showcase glitches that are on the fun side, and are not game breaking bugs that would lead to severe frustration while playing.
Genshin Impactis currently available for Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch port is in development, though it does not currently have a release date.
