A newGenshin Impactleak has revealed the character roadmap for the upcoming updates. The recently held live stream event has already confirmed the arrival of two brand-new characters, Kaveh and Baizhu, in the upcoming update 3.6. Both of them will be placed on the second banner cycle.
Baizhu will be a five-star character while Kaveh is confirmed to have a lower four-star rarity. This means thatGenshin Impactplayers can add both of them to their roster by spending their Primogems on the same Limited Character Banner.

A new post on theGenshin ImpactLeaks subreddit shows gives more information about the content that will arrive in the next couple of updates. The post reveals that the weapon banner for the second part ofGenshin Impactversion 3.6will feature the Amo’s Bow as one of the two five-star items. The second weapon will be Baizhu’s signature catalyst named Jadefall’s Splendor, which has max HP as its secondary stat making it the go-to choice for the new Dendro healer. According to the leak, update 3.7 will introduce only one new four-star character and her name is Kirara. Even though she was rumored to be a Geo character, recent leaks have confirmed that Kirara will be using the Dendro element.
Update 3.8 apparently won’t include any new characters, but it will feature the Cryo user Eula who currently holds the record for missing thehighest number of consecutiveGenshin Impactupdates. Her last banner appearance was alongside Albedo back in December 2021. Some fans suspect that one of the reasons why her re-run got delayed so much could be that HoYoverse will introduce a new Summer-themed skin.
Genshin Impacthas a pattern of adding new skinsaround two of its annual events, Golden Apple Archipelago and the Lantern Rite Festival. According to the leak, the first Fontaine update will introduce two new characters to the roster. One of them could be Wriothesley, a new Cryo user who has been mentioned by many credible leakers.
These leaks should be taken with a grain of salt and the name Wriothesley could just be a placeholder which is very common for early leaks. For example, a couple of months ago Kirara was first rumored to be a Geo character named Momoka. Players will have to wait for the 4.0 beta phase to get more credibleinformation about the whole Fontaine regionand its playable roster.
