Genshin Impact’s Dehya was one of the first characters to be introduced when Sumeru dropped. The Traveler meets her at the local tavern while accompanying Dunyarzad, who happens to be Dehya’s client. Since her first appearance in the game, plenty of players have been waiting for her release as a playable character.
Unfortunately for them, there’s been no word on when Dehya is set for release inGenshin Impact. However, the leaks circulating in the community may give players a better idea of when to expect the feisty mercenary.

Genshin Impact Dehya Leaks
Perhaps the most confusing thing about Dehya is that older leaks claim she is a 4-Star character. Even user hxg_diluc, a reliable leaker, has said so in the past. However, they’ve since rectified their statement, saying that it’s “possible” she’s a5-StarGenshin Impactcharacter. All that said, it’s impossible to confirm anything without an official announcement from HoYoverse, so it seems Dehya’s rarity will remain a mystery for now.
However, the most recent leaks surroundingupcomingGenshin Impactcharacter release dateslist Dehya as a 5-Star. According to user SYP, the Pyro Claymore-user is set to become playable in update 3.5. Though, again, this doesn’t confirm or deny anything about her character rarity. It could simply be a placeholder for upcoming Wish Banner speculations.
When it comes toGenshin ImpactDehya’s kit, this, too, isn’t completely verifiable. Granted, all leaks can never be fully verified until they’re confirmed in the game. But what makes Dehya’s case unique is that it seems HoYoverse is altering her character before release. So, her old character data may still be floating around the game files. This could be evidence that she’s been promoted to a 5-Star, but that’s just more speculation.
Regardless, Dehya leaks reveal that she has four normal attacks with two extra attacks in one cycle. It’s also hinted that she’ll have a unique Charged attack, though the specifics aren’t known yet. Meanwhile, Dehya’sGenshin ImpactElemental Skillhas her stab her claymore into the ground, creating a “grave.” The grave stays on the field for 15 seconds and targets enemies in range, coordinating its attacks with the active character. It also grants a Defense buff to any player in range. If Dehya is still on the field, she can recall the “grave” at any time, unleashing an AoE Pyro attack in the process.
Dehya’s Elemental Burst is labeled “Bladestorm.” Triggering it makes Dehya enter a Burst state that changes the way her Elemental Skill and Dash work. According to the leak, she gets three unique “jumps” whenever she uses either her Skill or Dash. These jumps allow her to teleport across the field, dealing AoE Pyro damage throughout the duration of the Burst. This makes her a viable DPS orsub-DPSGenshin Impactcharacter.
Finally, there was a questionable leak about one of Dehya’s Passive Skills circulating in the community. The leak claimed that the mercenary’s Passive Skill would be like Nilou’s except with a Pyro/Dendro-focused team. Many players are hoping that this isn’t the case as it severely limits Dehya’s team flexibility. It’s a gripe that players have withNilou’sGenshin Impactkit. Some leakers have spoken up, however, pointing out that there’s nothing in the files that confirm the Dehya Passive Skill leak.
As usual, it’s best to take these leaks with a grain of salt until HoYoverse comes out with an official announcement (and the usual drip marketing). Still, Dehya fans are a bit disappointed by the lack of leaks surrounding the upcoming character. Perhaps it’sanother hint that HoYoverseis changing Dehya’s character at the last minute.
