While players continue to wait for the upcoming beta forOverwatch 2, many continue to play the originalOverwatchand make impressive plays in the process. One character that often shows up in these highlight reels is Ashe.
First introduced to the game in 2018,Ashe is a DPS characterwith an impressive set of abilities. Among her arsenal, she has a rifle known as The Viper that can be used for picking off opponents from range. In addition, Ashe has a Coach Gun and the ability to throw dynamite. While these abilities are impactful in a fight, she also comes equipped with a giant omnic called BOB. Recently, one gamer revealed just how powerful this armored robot could be in a skirmish.

Taking to Reddit, anOverwatchgamer named Karl showed off a recent play of the game they managed to pull off as Ashe. However, the actual highlight probably was not what many would expect, as most of the work was done by her robotic sidekick, BOB. In the clip, the player was perched atop the gas station onthe Route 66 map, hoping to snipe some unsuspecting targets. However, that is not exactly how things turned out.
Rather embarrassingly, the Ashe player whiffed many shots, first on the opposing Mercy and then on the enemy Ana. Nevertheless, while the player missed the mark with their rifle, they had sent out BOB just before the start of the video, and he, unlike Ashe, was making short work of the enemy team. One by one, the kill feed highlighted BOB kills. This prompted theOverwatchgamer to say, “You may not like it, but this is what peak Ashe gameplay looks like.”
After posting this humorous clip of BOB wiping out an enemy team, numerous members of theOverwatchcommunity have commented on the play. With over 4,700 upvotes in only a day, many were amazed by the effectiveness of BOB in combat. In addition, some compared the clip toTorbjorn gameplay with his automated turret. “It’s a lot like peak torb gameplay,” Drunkinchipmunk said on Reddit.
While this video doubtlessly caught the attention of manyOverwatchfans, it was not the only impressive play pulled off by players in the last couple of weeks. Recently, another gamer recorded a video of them pulling off an incredible capture asWrecking Ball on the Eichenwalde map. Time will tell what other plays gamers can achieve with Ashe and BOB in the coming weeks. Specifically, it will be interesting to see what the dynamic duo can pull off inOverwatch 2when the beta finally launches on April 26.
Overwatchis available for PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
