Footage of the bizarreRed Dead Redemption 2glitch was posted to Reddit by user ISeekKnowledge1, which takes place in the stranger mission where Charlotte has tended to Arthur after he passes out due to his tuberculosis. In the cutscene, Arthur awakens to find a note from Charlotte, and as he reads, a group of bounty hunters enter the room and begin pointing their guns at him. As soon as the cutscene ends, they attack Arthur and kill him.
It’s a shame that it takes place during one of thebest stranger missions inRed Dead Redemption 2. This particular scene is supposed to be extremely important for those that actually choose to do the mission, as Arthur continues to come to terms with his mortality and struggle with tuberculosis. However, there’s no doubt that having a group of bounty hunters charge in massively undercuts the emotional heft of the scene, which is only compounded when Arthur instantly dies after it ends. It’s extremely silly in a way that the scene does not need at all.
Although strange bugs and interesting features are still being discovered inRed Dead Redemption 2, the community remains naturally curious about the franchise’s future. It has already been five years since the game was released, although the title feels modern in just about every element. Despite radio silence on a potentialRed Dead Redemption 3, the incredible sales of the previous game make it a near-certainty.
