Update 1.10 forFinal Fantasy 16is now live on PS5, and it makes some notable improvements to the game. As an example, it adds an Appearance feature to the game that allows players to change the costumes ofFinal Fantasy 16’s characters, including Clive, Jill, Torgal, and more. It will let users change the look of their weapon, while also adding an onion sword to the game. There are some gameplay changes included in the new patch, such small enemies being vulnerable to follow-up attacks in the air for an increased duration.

Arcade mode inFinal Fantasy 16will see a number of changes, as Square Enix has added a time limit to each stage while also reducing the scores awarded for the Rime and Gouge abilities. This update also adds an option to enable or disable theAdaptive Triggers of the DualSense controller, in addition to giving players more ways of changing the locked-on target.

Finally, update 1.1 forFinal Fantasy 16will fix some bugs and issues present in the game, such as specific characters’ actions not getting triggered correctly, and situations where some weapons could not be crafted inFinal Fantasy mode. Overall, this new update comes with a number of useful changes and bug fixes.

Square Enix also took this opportunity to announce some exciting news for fans, asFinal Fantasy 16will get two pieces of paid DLCin the future. Not much is known about their contents at the moment, but Cid could star in this one of these add-ons. Additionally, the PC version ofFinal Fantasy 16is confirmed to be development, and players can expect to hear more news on it later in 2023.
