Fortniteis deep in its Halloween celebration called Fortnitemares. The battle royale has a variety Halloween-themed challenges including killingghostly Shadow Midas, riding a witch broom, and finding three Witch Shacks on the map.
Before Fortnitemaresends on November 3rd, players can gain XP and unlock cosmetics by completing these spooky challenges. The Halloween challenges were released in stages, and the newest stage brought creepy, Baba Yaga-style witch huts to the alreadyHalloween-updatedFortnitemap. Players have to visit three of these to complete this challenge.

The Witch Shacks
Witch shacks are rickety looking buildings, slightly elevated from the ground. They are a purple-pink color with a blue roof, and are usually decorated with glowing jack-o-lanterns and several creepy-looking windows. They are rather shabby looking, appearing very old and weathered. Here’s what one looks like:
Luckily, most of the witch’s shacks will also containFortnite’s new witch broomsthat players can ride, speeding up the challenge and fulfilling one of the other Halloween challenges from last week.

Witch Shack Locations
These Witch Shacks are located all over theFortnitemap, in seven fairly easy to get to locations. Players can probably visit all of them in one match, but can split it between multiple matches if need be.
Here’s a map to help out:
What to Do at the Witch Huts
Players don’t actually have to enter the buildings; they can just run up under the stairs of the Shacks to trigger the challenge’s counter. The witch brooms will usually be on the outside anyway. So look for the broom while being careful to avoid Shadow players and NPCs that are out for blood. If players do get killed during the match, they can still complete the challenge in Shadow mode as a ghost while helping to take out other players. This is also great to help complete otherFortnitemares challenges for 2020.
Fortniteis available for PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
