Many of Forsen’s fans speculated on the reasoning behind the ban, knowing the streamer’s checkered past with adhering to Twitch’s guidelines, but no official reason was given until April 24, when Forsen himself tweeted that an explicit ASMR YouTube video that was watched on his last stream was why his channel was taken down. The ban will only last for one week, meaning the streamer can be back on as soon as April 27.
While the specific video which caused the ban wasn’t revealed, many fans believe it was an AI-generated ASMR video from a popular VTuber. This is hardly the first time that Forsen has been banned from Twitch, as the streamer faced an indefinite ban due to an incident in late 2020. While initially theorized to be one of the many DMCA takedowns at the time,Forsen was actually banned from Twitchdue to the sharing of an explicit GIF of a horse. The indefinite ban ended up lasting an entire month, making the latest ban much less severe in comparison.
While the content Forsen himself chooses to stream has now gotten him banned on more than one occasion, his followers have caused him to get banned as well. Last yearForsen managed to get banned fromPUBGtwice in a week, almost certainly due to his fanbase. Though never officially confirmed, the common belief is that either his or a rival’s community reported him enough forPUBGto automatically ban his profile without an initial review process. While Forsen does have a history of streaming some questionable content onTwitch, this latest ban could cause him to reel things in.
