The Elder Scrollsseries has a rich history of mods. Among all modders, however, the creators ofNehrinandEnderalwere behind some of themost ambitious mods forOblivionandSkyrim. SureAI, the German studio behind these non-commercial titles, started its activities back in 2003, releasing projects forMorrowind,Oblivion,Skyrim, andFallout 3. During this time, it specialized in crafting new worlds and stories using the engine provided by Bethesda.

Today, GOG announced thatElder Scrollsplayers canclaim bothNehrimandEnderalfor free on its website. However, copies of bothOblivionandSkyrimare necessary to play these games, as they are not commercial titles. The two games are total conversion mods that completely recreate both games with new lore, story, graphics, and music. Essentially, it’s like playing a whole new title that was loosely based onSkyrim. Specifically,Enderalhas been hailed for its qualityby critics, and has over 11,000 reviews on Steam, with 94% of them being positive at the time of this report.

Also, GOG users who enjoy these highly ratedTESmods will get the opportunity to claimEnderal: The Bard SongsandEnderal: The Shards of Order Soundtrack, which feature parts of the original soundtrack of the famousSkyrimtotal conversion mod. If they wish to support SureAI, it’s possible to purchaseThe Music of Vyn, a special title that compiles songs created by Marvin Kopp and Simon W. Autenrieth for the two mods.

Aside from these two games that will certainlyplease people who liked previousElder Scrollsgames, GOG is still offering another SureAI game:Mad Restaurant People. This is a commercial title from SureAI that comes with a free demo. In the puzzle title, the player acts as a server who works in a diner and needs to use their brain to face challenges and serve people as quickly as possible, building up their reputation. While fairly distinct as an action open-world RPG, this Indie puzzle game will certainly attract its audience.
