Fall Guysfans with an appreciation for the wider video game industry should be very satisfied with the game’s crossover cosmetics thus far. PlayStation and Xbox fans have been shown some love throughskins based on franchises likeHorizonandHalo, while multiplatform titles likeAssassin’s CreedandDestinyhave been represented too. However, the horror genre has not yet received skins even though it is easy to think about potential additions.

Thanks to the Xenomorph and Ripley from theAlienfranchise, it is clear that Mediatonic is willing to feature properties aimed at a mature audience withinFall Guys. As such, there should be no issue turning figures from darker universes into adorable beans. With some great horror games to choose from, Mediatonic could add content to its store for months, and it could even make an entire Season themed around spooky content.

Horror Skins That Could Be Fun To See in Fall Guys

The most obvious option for horror skins inFall Guysis theResident Evilfranchise, as the series is full of beloved protagonists that many would like to use in their matches. Alongside the favorites like Leon, Ada, and Chris, Jill could get some much-needed love. Claire would be a must too, andAlbert Weskerseems too good to pass up on - with an emote possibly allowing the bean’s eyes to glow. Mediatonic could have some fun with an Ethan Winters skin by removing the eyes from the bean’s faceplate, essentially meaning it has no face.

Mr. X and Nemesis could work, too, and the inclusion of monstrous beans should immediately remind fans of another franchise:Silent Hill.Pyramid Headwould be a must-have skin, while the nurses could also be fun to see in bean form. Protagonists like James and Heather could be included as well. WithSilent Hillcurrently in the midst of a resurgence, with multiple projects in the works, it only makes sense to continue the promotion within battle royale games likeFall Guys.

Fall Guys

WithThe Callisto Protocolhaving just released andDead Spacemaking its debut in a few weeks’ time, both games could make for some well-timed collaborations. The Alpha and Jacob could both make for fun skins, as players would see the CORE on the latter’s back as they hop between lilypads or try to stay alive on Hex-A-Gone.Dead Space’s RIGsuit would look just as good on a bean, and a Necromorph with its sharpened arms could be another neat cosmetic. These are just a few of the many possibilities, too, as everything fromOutlasttoLittle Nightmarescould work.

What a Horror-Themed Fall Guys Season Could Look Like

While horror skins would be the main draw of most crossovers, a scary season that happens around Halloween would also be viable. Much like players could get the Apple of Eden during anAssassin’s Creedevent, an event for something likeResident Evilcould provide a free outfit based on a character likeRose Winters. Some special new stages inspired by the featured horror properties would be a fun way to make the season feel unique.

Potential stages includeResident Evil’s Spencer Mansion, the titular town of theSilent Hillfranchise, andDead Space’s USG Ishimura. Having some less colorful environments could be a big change forFall Guys, making the stage rotation feel a bit more diverse for a few months. WithSonic the Hedgehog’s Green Hill Zone being used as the basis for a stage, rushing through the hallways of the Ishimura to dodge traps resembling Necromorphs could be a genuine possibility. Even if a full-on horror season does not happen,Fall Guysshould absolutely start to feature some cosmetics based on scary games.

Fall Guysis available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
