Animal Crossing: New Horizonsplayers have had a busy couple of weeks since the game launched as they work to pay off their debts to Tom Nook and fully customize their islands with original designs and rare items. Players who are also working to find every fish, bug, and animal on the islands have likely also been looking forward to the new bugs who are arriving on April 1.
In addition to a bunch ofnew fish arriving inAnimal Crossingtomorrow, the start of April also means a handful of new bugs will be appearing inAnimal Crossing: New Horizons. Just like the fish in the game, many bugs only appear during certain points in the calendar year and these rotations usually coincide with the first day of a month. April is no exception and island dwellers have a handful of valuable (and some less valuable) critters to catch in their nets starting tomorrow.

AC players who would prefer to be surprised as they fish this month may want to stop reading here, if they would consider a full list of available spoiler territory. Consider this thefinal spoiler warningfor the April fish list…
Madagascan-Sunset Moth - Flying - 2,500 bells - 8am-4pm
Agrias Butterfly - Flying - 3,000 bells - 8am-5pm
Darner Dragonfly - Flying - 230 bells - 8am-5pm
Common Bluebottle - Flying - 300 bells - 8am-4pm
Long Locust - Ground - 200 bells - 8am-7pm
Atlas Moth - Tree - 3,000 bells - 7pm-4am
Flea - On an infested villager - 70 bells - All day
Players who are saving up to pay off the next expansion of their house or some other pricey shopping have now have some very profitable bug options to add to theirdaily Bell grind. At 3,00 Bells per catch, the Agrias Butterfly is definitely going to be worth hunting down in that 8am-5pm window. That said, it will likely be pretty rare based on its appearances in prior games in theAnimal Crossingfranchise. On the much more common side, the Madagascan-Sunset Moth’s 2,500 Bell selling price is likely to be a much easier bug to farm for some quick cash.
Most of these new bugs are on the common side, but definitely don’t pass up the chance tocatch a Agrias Butterfly for your museumif you get a chance. The fleas who might infest other villagers are also very rare, so keep an eye out for those little critters, as well. Everything else should be pretty stress-free to catch!
