Eternity Isle is thoughtfully designed with numerous landmarks that mirror those in the Valley. This design choice offers players the convenience of familiar settings while they explore this new area, eliminating the need for frequent returns to the original Valley.
Notable features includenew Goofy’s Stallsin each biome, wells which can be activated for fast travel purposes, and a second home mirroring the player’s primary home back in the Valley. How to Start “Ancient Landing’s Fine Dining”
To unlock Remy’s Restaurant, players must embark on a short quest beginning on Eternity Isle. The first step is to locate the shuttered Chez Remy in The Courtyard area of Ancient Landing. Outside the restaurant, players will find a sparkling piece of paper titled Eternity Isle’s Menu. Collecting this item initiates the questAncient Landing’s Fine Dining.
How to Complete “Ancient Landing’s Fine Dining”
With the Eternity Isle’s menu in their inventory, the player should seek out Remy, who will appear nearby if he’s not already on Eternity Isle. Speaking with Remy reveals his interest inreopening his restauranton the Isle. He tasks the player with gathering ingredients from around Ancient’s Landing while he tidies up the establishment. The required items are:
6 Eternity Isle fish (Any)
6 Cumin
Foraged from plants found in Ancient’s Landing.
After collecting these, the player has to return to Remy and hand over the ingredients, so he canprepare mealsfor the restaurant’s relaunch on Eternity Isle. The players must then head back to the shuttered restaurant and interact with the nearby Scrooge McDuck sign to facilitate the reopening of the restaurant. Once Scrooge completes his part, Chez Remy is open for business.
Upon returning to Remy with the great news, players are rewarded with recipes for two new dishes,Conch CevicheandBasil Berry Salad. Both of these meals are exclusive toA Rift in Timeand require some ingredients which are exclusive to Eternity Isle.
Players might initially believe they need to upgrade Chez Remy on Eternity Isle separately from the Valley location, as its exterior does not appear to update immediately. However, upon entering the newly opened eatery, the restaurant on Eternity Isle will automatically match the upgrade level of its Valley counterpart. Additionally, the ingredient assortment unlocked in Remy’s shop remains consistent across both locations.
The Chez Remy on Eternity Isle also mirrors the Valley location in terms of dining characters andtheir set dining times. Importantly, the characters request the same meals irrespective of the restaurant’s location and their requested dishes don’t seem to require Eternity Isle-exclusive ingredients. This is great news for players who haven’t purchasedA Rift in Time.
