Amidst new information was a short section detailing mounts inDiablo 4. Players unlock the ability to use mounts after completing the main quest associated with it, with one character. During the record-breakingDiablo 4beta, players noticed text at the Stable that said mounts would be unlocked by progressing the campaign and completing a quest called Mount: Donan’s Favor. Once players earn this feature inDiablo 4, they can further customize their ride with different types of mounts, as well as special armor and trophies to adorn their steed’s flank or saddle with. What the others look like remains to be seen, but it’s something many fans will no doubt enjoy unlocking.

Unlocking mounts this way is certainly beneficial for fans of the ARPG franchise. The open world ofDiablo 4is massive, and traversing it on foot would be slow-going without a mount, even with the use of waypoints.Diablo 4also showcased mounts as a major featurein the game, and it’s clear just how important they are.
