In its latest weekly address, Bungie revealed thatDestiny 2is getting three new Strand aspects inside of Season 21 through a new pursuit on Neomuna. Following in the footsteps of Stasis, Strand is the second darkness subclass to join the game, arriving inside the recently released Lightfall expansion. Fans immediately took to the green subclass as it opened up new possibilities within the game thanks in large part to the Grapple ability, which spawned no shortage of videos of players testing the traversal abilities of Strand.

Although it’s still fairly new to the game, Strand has already seen a few changes in the past couple of months. In response to fan feedback, Bungie even unlocked the entire collection of aspects for players who felt the time gates were too restrictive. While Bungie has admitted it is still gathering information on Strand and whether or not it needs any tuning similar to therecently announcedDestiny 2subclass tweaks, the developer is giving players more tools when Season 21 finally hits.

When Season 21 arrives inDestiny 2, players will have 3 new Strand aspects to unlock as part of a new pursuit from the Pouka Pond in Neomuna. While details on this pursuit are slim at the moment, Bungie pulled the curtain back on all three aspects, one for each class.

The Hunter gets the Threaded Specter aspect, which leaves behind a decoy when the player uses dodge, attracting the attention of all nearby enemies. Better yet, when the decoy takes a set amount of damage or is beset by a number of enemies, it detonates to deal damage and releasing two Threadlings to attack nearby foes.

Warlocks can unlock The Wanderer which seems to play into theBroodweaver’s ability to be a minion master. When picking up a Tangle, it can be woven into The Wanderer that travels through the air to seek out targets once thrown. It latches onto the target, explodes, and suspends the target and any nearby enemies which can also generate another Tangle. The benefit here is that The Wanderer essentially gives Warlocks a Shakle Grenade without having to equip it.

Finally, Titans can get the Flechette Storm aspect, which gives them access to a way to unravel enemies. When sliding, activating a charged melee will cause the Titan to leap into the air, knocking nearby enemies away while also dealing damage to them. In the air, players can activate the charged melee again to launch a cluster of Unraveling projectiles. Repeatedly activating melee chains additional throws together for even more damage.

In addition to new Aspects,Bungie also teased Season 21 contentby showing off a picture that seems to reveal the return of Sloane, a character that was seemingly lost when Saturn’s moon Titan was lost to the Darkness.

Destiny 2is available on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
