Mass Effectfans have a lot to be excited about. Saturday saw the announcement ofMass Effect: Legendary Edition, a remaster of the originalMass Effecttrilogy, as well as the confirmation that a newMass Effecttitle is in development. Fittingly, BioWare and Electronic Arts are capitalizing on the energy, delivering a new round ofMass Effectmerchandise as part of N7 Day. The jewel of the collection seems to be an Alliance Normandy SR-1 Replica.
Dark Horse Direct, a division of the Dark Horse comic books publisher, provides direct-to-consumer merchandise tied to all manner of pop culture properties. On Saturday,Dark Horse Directrevealed three newMass Effectproducts, including the Alliance Normandy SR-1 Replica. The others are a set of fourMass EffectCharacter Prints, and a set ofMass EffectParagon & Renegade Bookends. All three items are currently available to purchase, though it may be some time before they’re shipped.

TheMass EffectAlliance Normandy SR-1 is 14 inches in length and 5.6 inches wide, 24 pounds in weight, and comes with a stand designed to look like the Moon and a rod so that theNormandylooks as if it’s floating. TheMass EffectAlliance Normandy SR-1 is available only in limited quantity, with just 500 planned. It will cost $249.99, and shipments for pre-orders are expected to go out between August and October 2021.
TheMass EffectCharacter Prints Portfolio is a set of four different prints made by artist Matt Taylor. The four characters featured are Liara T’Soni, the Illusive Man, Aria T’Loak, and Garrus Vakarian, represented from four differentMass Effectcomic book seriespublished by Dark Horse. Only 250 portfolios of four 8x12" prints are being made, each with a digital code for all of Dark Horse’sMass Effectcomics. The price for the set is $125, with shipping planned for December 2020 though January 2021.
Lastly, there’s theMass EffectBookends, one featuring the blue Paragon symbol and the other featuring half of thered Renegade star. They’re 8.5 inches tall and are made from polyresin, weighing under 13 lbs. Only 1,000 of the bookends will be made, andMass Effectfans can purchase them for $99.99 with shipping planned for June-to-August 2021.
This seems to be a great set of merchandise to potentially buy to celebrate the announcement of thenewMass EffectgameandMass Effect: Legendary Edition. It will be some time before these games or the merchandise arrive, but it marks a good haul for fans on the annual N7 Day.
