The Early Access beta is accessible to players who have preordered the game on either platform, regardless of the game edition. Preordering also grants four extra codes that can be shared with friends for squad play, provided all players are on the same platform. PS5 codes cannot be used by PC players, and vice versa.
In exciting news for PlayStation players, all users with an active PlayStation Plus subscription will also have access to the early access beta, though they won’t receive additional shareable codes.

The Early Access Beta of Concord promises a wealth of variety. Players will have access to all 16 characters to try out, along with three unique modes: Cargo Hunt, Crashpoint, and Trophy Hunt. The beta will also feature four diverse maps: Freewater, Star Chamber, Water Hazard, and Shock Risk.
The Open Beta, as its name suggests, will be accessible to all players and won’t be restricted to those who pre-ordered the game. Both PC and PS5 players can join in starting July 18 at 10 AM PDT, with the beta concluding on July 21. Preload for PS5 users will begin exactly one day earlier, on July 17 at 10 AM PDT.

The Open Beta will offer more than just the initial experience, featuring additional content such as a new map, Bone Mines, and a new mode called Area Control.
Rewards for Concord Beta
Participating in the beta isn’t just about playing the game early; it also comes with rewards, though they are purely cosmetic, so don’t expect any gameplay boosts in the final game. Players who participate in the beta will receive the Lil' Frog Weapon Charm and the Star Flare Business Card. The Lil' Frog Weapon Charm is a nod to the Northstar’s drop ship, known as “From Orbit to Ground.”
