Call of Duty Zombieshas been an ever-evolving mode of theCall of Dutyfranchise since first being introduced withCall of Duty: World at Warin 2008.Call of Duty: Vanguard’s new Zombie featureslook to change up the gameplay in exciting new ways, but there are plenty of fans who enjoy the classic gameplay as well. Map design from the earlierCall of Duty Zombiestitles, such asWorld at WarandBlack Ops,is part of what makes them memorable. Over the years some fans have taken to recreate classic Zombies maps, and one fan did just that inFortnite.
FortniteCreative allows fans of the game to make anything from a new map, to game mode ideas, to even acyberpunk city inside ofFortnite. The mode was initially released in December of 2018. The creativity is endless, and this is on display with a recent creation shared on the r/CODZombies subreddit.

Redditor u/mist_jawaYT recently posted a video on Reddit sharing their work-in-progress creation ofCall of Duty ZombieswithinFortniteCreative. At first glance, the video appears to simply show a recreation of some of thebestCall of Duty Zombiesmapswithin the popular third-person shooter. However, theFortnitecreator is making a working zombies mode based on theCall of Dutygame withinFortniteCreative, and it looks quite remarkable.
As the video continues, not only is it clear that a map like Nacht der Untoten is made real again insideFortnite, but mainstay gameplay mechanics fromCall of Duty Zombiesare a part of the project such as the Mystery Box, wall buys, Perk-A-Colas, and more. In the comments, u/mist_jawaYT says that the final creation will have rounds, zombies, all the makings of the fullCall of Duty Zombieentertainment, and even easter eggs.
In total, the plan is to have the maps Nacht der Untoten, Verruckt, Shi No Numa, The Giant, Der Eisendrache, Kino der Toten, Rust zombies, and Shadows of Evil all ready in December withinFortniteCreative. Although the plans seem ambitious, the video shows that the project is coming along very nicely.Call of Duty Zombiesis good for some nice Halloween enjoyment, but perhaps thisFortniteCreativeCall of Duty Zombiecreation will be a nice Christmas surprise. There should certainly be a delight to be had with Zombies inCall of Duty: Vanguardas well, but it is nice to see the classic Zombies action being kept alive via the fans.
