A recentCall of Duty: Warzonerumor has been spreading regarding streamers and their lobby compositions. Players have started to build up an unwarranted level of toxicity towards theCall of Duty: Warzonestreaming community as many viewers are accusing them of being in bot lobbies or reverse boosting. While both of these practices have been speculated on, there is still no hard evidence that any streamer has manipulated the system.

Despite this,Call of Duty: Warzonecommunity memberson Reddit have begun to scrutinize streamer broadcasts. Among the many is Symfuhny, who one viewer claims got 23 kills and won a game against opponents who seemed to lack in skill.

In a recent stream, Symfuhny decided to look into where the sudden spike in community toxicity was originating. Forum user Tofazzz posted the below thread, andCall of Duty: WarzonestreamerSymfuhny had a few choice words for his fans. The Reddit user observed that enemies had slow reaction times, did not hear steps on ladders, and were almost always killed in the first 2-3 shots of Symfuhny’s DMR and MAC-10 combo. Tofazzz claims that it almost feels as if they are playing a completely different game despite having a fairly average K/D. With the recentsurge inCall of Duty: Warzonelobby hacks involving a third-party app, speculation feels warranted among the game community regarding the difference in lobby behavior.

On stream, Symfuhny had a rather clear cut explanation for the fan’s observations. He explains that the reason thatCall of Duty: Warzoneplayers see a difference is due to their skill levels. On stream, he states that “The reason you don’t find these players is because you’re the player that’s getting rolled!”

Comments below the post continue to reinforce fan observations as many of their lobbies feel ultra-competitive compared to the streamers'. Another player explains that they have a K/D of 2.02 and their lobbies look likeCall of Dutychampionship events, whereas the streamers are experiencing rather standard games.

Symfuhny had another answer as he agrees that the streamer lobbies tend to look better due to the fact that streamers are better at the game. Due to theskill gap inCall of Duty: Warzone, streamer lobbies are going to look better than the average player. He quickly identifies that the problem is not with the streamers; it’s with the viewers themselves, not acknowledging that the streaming community has skill.

Many of thetop players inCall of Duty: Warzoneare significantly betterthan even their peers. There is a massive stretch in skill between the top 5% of players in the world versus the top 0.01%. There is a very real chance that streamers are better than most, and that skill not a sign of cheating but rather intense commitment to be pros in their field and showcase that skill for an internet full of viewers.

Call of Duty: Warzoneis available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
