Season 5 ofCall of Duty: Warzoneis winding down quickly, and as players are making an attempt to finish their battle passes, Activision has begun hyping players up for Season 6. After a few leaks several weeks ago, Activision has started to tease the addition of a subway system across theWarzonemap.

Today, Activision released a new cinematic trailer forCall of Duty: Modern WarfareandWarzone’ssixth season, and while the trailer is largely lore-based it does offer up a new addition toWarzoneonce the season launches. If there was still any doubt after the story beats of the trailer ended, fans are given a look at theCall of Duty: Warzonemap with the subway system drawn out. The map included in the trailer points to different areas where, assumably, the subway will stop for players to get on and travel around. It appears, judging by the given map, that subway stations will be added to areas around the Stadium, the Airport, and even the Quarry.

The first hint that a subway system could be introduced inCall of Duty: Warzonecame from a leaked map back in August. After the first leak came and went, a second leak appeared a few weeks later during the CDL Championship that seemed to let out the secret of asubway coming toWarzone. During a CDL Championship celebration, an overhead shot of the Stadium was shown off which included a small, subway entrance that is not currently on theWarzonemap.

Activision has given fans a few big looks at what they can expect during Season 6 ofWarzoneandModern Warfare. Aside from the subway coming to theWarzonemap, fans were treated to Nikolai and Farah being introduced in theWarzonestory. Farah, unlocked at Tier 0, and Nikolai, unlocked at Tier 100, will also be two of the operators available in the Season 6 Battle Pass. Additionally, both characters will have skins that players can earn through Operator Missions.

Season 6 ofCall of Duty: Modern WarfareandWarzoneis scheduled to kick off on September 29. For Season 5,Warzonesaw the opening of the Stadiumand the addition of a train, which gave players new places to fight over. While the addition of a subway and several stations is exciting, it will be interesting to see if Infinity Ward decides to change theWarzonemap up even further.
