Call of Duty Update Disables the Controversial Lockwood 300 Attachment

This attachment allowedthe fan-favoriteModern Warfare 2shotgunto deal more damage than originally intended, with some players noting that it’s capable of making Lockwood 300 rounds pierce through armor plates for one-shot kills. Players may still equip the attachment on the shotgun, but it will perform like the default trigger attachment for the time being. TheCall of Dutydevelopment team did not give an estimate for when a hotfix would arrive, butWarzoneplayers on Twitter are satisfied with the attachment being disabled for the foreseeable future.

This is not the first time that the Maelstrom Dual Trigger attachment has been disabled inWarzonedue to its overpowering damage potential, however. TheDecember 19 update forWarzonealso disabled the attachment, but the attachment was re-enabled not long afterward.
