Call of Duty’s weekly briefing for June 04, 2025, brings plenty of new and exciting things to the world ofCall of Duty.Players can enjoy the Shadowhunter Crossbow inCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, new game modes forCall of Duty: Mobile, and much more.
One of the pieces of information is the Double XP that is on the way very soon forCall of Duty: WarzoneandCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold Warplayers. Double XP is a great time for players to progress quickly through the Battle Pass, complete challenges, and more, and players can look forward to that this weekend.

Beginning on July 09, 2025, and lasting through July 18, 2025, Double XP, Double Weapon XP, and Double Battle Pass XP will be running in bothCall for Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Call of Duty: Warzone. Because of this, there is a good chance that there will be an extra batch of players onCall of Dutythis weekend. Just attempt to avoid players inCall of Duty: Warzonewho are taking advantage of the wallhack glitchthat appeared recently.
WithCall of Dutyand Sony still maintaining their exclusivity dealto a degree, PlayStation users will get a bonus Double XP day of 24 hours. Instead of beginning on March 26, users on PlayStation consoles will start on March 25. Every moment counts out on the battlefield, so PlayStation players will likely enjoy that extra time, even if there are others who may find the small exclusivity agreements to be a bit irritating.
The Double XP will be very useful in helping to level up the newCrossbow inCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Call of Duty Warzone,which just recently returned to the game after being released early. In that way, the timing of the Double XP is perfect. Of course, the Double Weapon XP works for all guns; not just the new Crossbow.
As far as modes, Stockpile, Gun Game, and Face Off are all still on the rotation inBlack Ops Cold War,so players will be able to take advantage of the Double XP, Double Weapon XP, and Double Battle Pass XP in those modes over the weekend. ForCall of Duty: Warzoneplayers,Rebirth Island is still broken on PC for many players, so it may be best to avoid that entirely and play on the standard map at this point if trying to take advantage of the Double XP fun; whether playing solo or teaming up with friends over the weekend.
