A new BioWare tweet has fans wondering if the developer is teasing a newMass Effectgame. The game would be the first new release in the series since 2017’sMass Effect: Andromeda, which was heavily criticized for its storyand facial animations.
On Twitter, BioWare posted another song from theMass Effectsoundtrack as part of its #MassRelays series. BioWare says that “the infinite possibilities of space have always been inspiring to us” and tells fans to sit back and think of the cosmos while they listen to the song. The video has been viewed 83.1K times by what seem to be excited fans who are enjoying the nostalgic music.

However, while some fans are just enjoying the music, many others are using the tweet as a way to tell BioWare what they want from theMass Effectseries. One of the most popular suggestions is for BioWare to release aMass Effecttrilogy remaster that allows them to play the first three games in the series on PS4 and Xbox One. Fans have wondered if BioWare could bemaking aMass Effecttrilogy remastersince the developer started the Mass Relays series in January, but nothing has been officially confirmed.
Several other fans want BioWare to makeMass Effect Andromeda 2, or another new game in the series. This may be surprising as Mass Effect Andromeda caused so much controversy. The game was criticized by critics and fans and publisher EA confirmed that it didn’t meet sales expectations. There are those who believe the game wasn’t great, but want to see what BioWare could do if given more development time.
It’s unlikely that BioWare is really teasing with this tweet, but new job listings from the developer do suggest that it is working on something that fans will enjoy. The job listing is hiring a developer to work on a"prestigious" BioWare series. This could beMass Effect,and these Mass Relays music posts could be growing towards an official announcement of what is next in the series.
That job listing could also be for Dragon Age, though, as BioWare did reveal aDragon Age 4 trailer at The Game Awards 2018. Nothing has been confirmed about the game since, and fans will be wondering if BioWare is able to develop a newDragon Ageand give them a newMass Effectgame.
