Even though she was born in Canada, Tatiana Maslany has European ancestry. It served her well in this movie as she voiced the part of Tatiana, the character who puts the plot into motion thanks to her diary that Naomi Watts' midwife Anna Khitrova discovers.

The story is complicated and doesn’t spare its characters, which allows it to build an intense atmosphere. Even though the viewers never see Maslany in the movie, her voice is unmistakable, and Maslany doesn’t disappoint despite the fact that she doesn’t have as much space in this movie as some other actors.

Tatiana Maslany is just as talented at voicing characters in animated series, and she’s at live acting. She proved it in this underappreciated series that aired for two seasons between 2018 and 2019. Despite the fact that multiple known names are attached to it, the series currently has only over 6 thousand ratings on IMDb which is very little in comparison to the most famous TV series. It centers on two royal teenagers who escape their home and hide on Earth. The problem is that bounty hunters are after them and if they find them, they’ll die. Tatiana Maslany voiced Aja, one of the main characters, in all 26 episodes.
