Should You Trust Omeluum?

Omeluum isa genuinely good-aligned characterand understands what it is like to be controlled mentally. For this reason, players may want to get to the Underdark and meet him toward the earlier part of the campaign. He’s one of the major figures to speak to when trying to get a cure done.

If players are leveling up as fast as possible,he asks for some ingredients to make a potionthat will be on the way. Once collected, return to him and drink his potion. The parasite will squirm around but do no lasting damage. While Omeluum, like so many others, fails to cure the parasite issue, there is no harm in him trying this. He provides a Ring of Mind-Shielding to help prevent the parasite from squirming around any further. It provides an advantage against being charmed, which is situationally pretty useful.
