However, that is far from the only changes coming next season.Besides adding anew character toApex Legends, the developers have announced several upcoming changes to the weapons pool. According to news from Respawn Entertainment, the Flatline, a heavy ammo AR, and the Longbow DMR, a semi-automatic sniper, are being removed from the ground loot pool. While this means that players will no longer discover these weapons on the ground, they will still be available via Replicators.
It seems that adding the Flatline and Longbow DMR to Replicators is Respawn Entertainment’s attempt to combat an oversaturation of weapons in the ground loot pool. Over the past few seasons, a growing number of players havecomplained that there are too many gunsbeing added to the game. While moving these popular weapons to Replicators does not remove them from the game entirely, it could make getting this loadout more difficult. However, it remains to be seen how rare they end up being in actual matches.
In addition to this news regarding Replicator weapons, it was revealed thatthe powerful Volt SMGwould be making its way into the Care Package in Season 12. This will mark the first time the energy ammo gun has been removed from the ground loot pool for an extended period of time. To accommodate the addition of the Volt, the Alternator, another SMG, is making a return to ground loot for the first time since Season 9. However, the G7 Scout, Kraber, and Spitfire will remain in the Care Package.
It will be interesting to see how players respond to this news regarding the change to the weapon pool, as both the Flatline and Longbow are popular guns in the current meta. Hopefully, these changes made by the developers at Respawn Entertainment make Season 12 ofApex Legendsone of the best yet for its many fans.
