Ryan Murphy’s new project,American Horror Stories, has added some big names to its roster. While incomplete, the announced cast features a few familiar faces fromAmerican Horror Storyand many new ones.
American Horror Storiesis a spin-offof Murphy’s 10 season FX seriesAmerican Horror Story. UnlikeAmerican Horror Story,Murphy’s new horror series will not air on FX, but will instead premiere on Hulu.

In a teaser trailer to promoteAmerican Horror Stories,Murphy gave horror fans a glimpse of who they can expect to see on the series. Among them arefamous names like Danny TrejoandGrease Live’sAaron Tveit. Joining them are Belissa Escobedo, Kyle Red Silverstein, Amy Grabow, Gavin Creel, Ashley Martin Carter, Kaia Gerber, and Nico Greetham. Furthermore,American Horror Storieswill feature Sierra McCormick, Paris Jackson,Outer Banks’Madison Bailey, and Marvel’sRunawaysstarsVirginia Gardner and Rhenzy Feliz.
Along with those faces, fans can expect to be terrified by a few familiar faces.American Horror Storyveterans Matt Bomer, John Carroll Lynch, Naomi Grossman, Billie Lourd, and Charles Melton have been named to return for the spin-off as well. Joining them arePose’sDyllón Burnside andGlee’s Kevin McHale. Over the years, Murphy has worked as a producer on bothPoseandGlee.
With this being only a portion of the cast,American Horror Storiesis already off on the right foot. By including a handful ofAmerican Horror Storyvets, fans of the original series will tune in to see what sinister roles they bring to life this time. WithAmerican Horror Storiesbeing a spin-offof that series, the new faces Murphy has brought in will breathe fresh life into theAmerican Horror Storyfranchise and, perhaps, pick up many new fans along the way. Now that it will stream exclusively on Hulu, with rising popularity in streaming services, it has the potential to do very well.
While the announced cast does not includefan favorites like Sarah Paulsonand Evan Peters, the pair are expected to appear in the tenth season ofAmerican Horror Story: Double Feature. Plus, Paulson has also confirmed that she will direct an episode ofAmerican Horror Stories. With many cast members still to be announced, it is unclear who may make an appearance alongside the already large cast. If there’s one thing fans know about Murphy, it’s thatAmerican Horror Storieswill be something to keep the lights on for.
