Amazonofficially unveiled its free games with Amazon Prime for September with a batch of well-known games coming to the free promotion. September’s free games include several popular AAA games with Ubisoft’sAssassin’s Creed: Originsand the Game of the Year Edition ofMiddle-earth: Shadow of Mordorheadlining the monthly offerings.Football Manager 2022will also be joining the Amazon Prime promotion with other smaller games likeThe DigandDefend the Rookincluded among the list of eight games.

Amazon’sfeaturing ofAssassin’s Creed: Originswill be joined by future content planned for the newest entry in theAssassin’s Creedfranchise. The September games announcement also revealed that Prime members would be able to claim in-game content forAssassin’s Creed Valhallastarting on September 13th. Prime currently features a “Charlemagne Bundle” forAssassin’s Creed Valhallawith Prime members able to acquire free cosmetics. Amazon also confirmed Prime-exclusive content coming for two other games throughout September inSkull & BonesandRainbow Six Siege.

Amazon Prime Gaming Free Games for September 2022

Amazon’s cloud gaming service, Amazon Luna, will also be offering a further selection offree games through the Prime Gaming Channel. Amazon Luna’s monthly offerings will include a wide variety of games from racing games likeHot Wheels UnleashedandRipTide GP: Renegadeto platformers likeEarthworm JimandYooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair. Amazon Prime members can access Luna’s Prime Gaming Channel as part of their Prime membership, with other channels on Luna coming packaged as separate monthly subscriptions.

Amazon’s newest batch of monthly games comes as the online marketplace has continued to push itself to the forefront of the gaming industry. Amazon published the long-awaited arrival ofpopular MMORPGLost Arkin North America, South America, and Europe when it launched in February. Amazon has pushed its Prime subscription for gamers featuring not only free games, but also exclusive cosmetics and bonuses for popular ongoing games likeLeague of LegendsandWorld of Warcraft. Amazon Prime’s September library brings a variety of games that should appeal to plenty of players.
