PowerWash Simulatorhas confirmed all five locations that players will get their chance to hose down and clean in the upcomingFinal Fantasy 7-themed DLC. Earlier this month,PowerWash Simulatorannounced the release date for the DLC, set to be added to the base game on March 2. This will be a free expansion for all owners of the base game, giving fans a chance to clean off a lot of iconicFinal Fantasy 7locations and set pieces.
Square Enixfirst published FuturLab’s simulator last year, following a stint in Steam Early Access. It first released on PC and Xbox, with ports to the Switch and PlayStation near the end of January 2023. It then got its first set of crossover DLC, where players get to clean the Croft Manor from theTomb Raiderseries. A list of the iconic locations fromFinal Fantasy 7’s Midgar were provided in a recent post to PlayStation Blog, where it included the places and even robots where they will take the powerwasher to.

One of these includesFinal Fantasy 7’s Scorpion Sentinel, the game’s very boss fight, that in-universe has been covered in the remains of a battle between it and one of Professor Hojo’s specimens. The blog post describes it to be getting washed before being deployed against the members of Avalanche. One of the designers noted the Sentinel’s animations, where it can allow players to get different angles while cleaning it.
It also showed off anothericonicFinal Fantasy 7location, Seventh Heaven, which is both Tifa’s Bar and Avalanche’s home base. Players will get to hear conversations from Cloud and Tifa in the background of this area, along with washing off Cloud’s Buster Sword and Barret’s rotary gun. The game’s first-person perspective also allows players to see details more clearly than ever before. The other locations included in this DLC Pack will be the Shinra Headquarters Exhibition room, the Mako Energy Exhibit, and even the Airbuster.
PowerWash Final Fantasy 7 DLC Locations
The Shinra HQ Exhibition Room will allow players to wash off the iconic Hardy Daytona and Shinra Hauler vehicles. Based on the remake’s interpretation, the Mako Energy Exhibit is the scale model of Midgar itself, that can be experienced during a guided tour.The Airbusteris one ofFF7 Remake’s formidable penultimate bosses, which is one of the last fights before exiting the city. The blog post ends with this DLC giving players a chance to appreciate the finer details of these set pieces, joking that the bosses in particular aren’t going to attack the player this time round.
