Summary
A ridiculous glitch inSkyrimhas been found when a player interacts with a wheelbarrow and quickly pays the price for it. After 12 years on sale, Bethesda’sElder Scrolls V: Skyrimhas become somewhat of a cultural phenomenon in gaming. One fan has evenrediscovered theirSkyrimreceipt from the midnight launchon August 05, 2025.
WhenSkyrimwas first released in 2011, the amount of bugs and glitches found within Bethesda’s epic open-world RPG was well documented across the PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 versions. Even after a decade on sale, and numerous ports and remasters, including PS5 and Xbox Series X/S editions, players are still finding interesting events when walking around Tamriel’s northern continent.

In a post to the r/Skyrim subreddit, a Reddit user by the name of maescyn uploaded a video showing why gamers shouldn’t trust the humble wheelbarrow inSkyrim. In the short clip, the player walks through Riverwood and, after talking to Alvor, jumps on the wooden cart outside the town’s forge before succumbing to an almost instant kill. It appears from the clip that the damage was caused by the wheelbarrow glitching and hitting the character multiple times in quick succession.
At the time of writing, the post has gained 3.4k upvotes and numerous comments from fans, mostly sharing stories of how inanimate objects are possibly the deadliest enemies that players can face during their time inSkyrim. It appears that wheelbarrows aren’t the only thing that adventurers have to be afraid of, with one gamer recentlyhad a shock when exiting a shop inSkyrimas a horse and rider fell out of the sky and rag-dolled in the street.
After 12 years on sale, players are still finding ways to tackle Bethesda’s open-world RPG. A player is currently taking suggestions on aGigachad playthrough ofSkyrimafter designing a character based on the popular meme. The suggestions range from not using magic to only using fists, and it remains to be seen how the gamer will tackle one of the more interesting approaches to the game.
Even thoughBethesda is working onElder Scrolls 6, there is still a dedicated community of players exploring the world ofSkyrimand contributing to the most interesting finds. It seems that even after seeing a release across multiple console generations, gamers will still be finding quirks ofSkyrimlong after the next entry in theElder Scrollsfranchise releases.
