2Switch Pro Is Coming Soon
It feels like there have been rumors of a Switch Pro coming since the console’s launch. It is easy to see why these rumors persist. Consumers want a stronger Nintendo console so games run smoother when on the go.
Other than reports from media, there is really no reason to believe a pro model is coming anytime soon. Nintendo has never given any indication that one is coming, so people should really calm down until official word comes from the company.
1It Is Anti-Consumer
It is easy to look at some of Nintendo’s moves and think it has tried to stump the consumer at every possible turn. It is true there are some obvious issues that need attending to, but Nintendo has also done a lot right with the Switch.
The Switch Liteis a perfect example of this. Pay one hundred dollars less if you are just interested in portable gaming. The artificial scarcity of certain games and content locked behind Amiibos definitely sting, but the system itself is cheaper than most other options and offers a unique experience.
