When 343releasedHalo 2: Anniversary Editionto excited playersofThe Master Chief Collection,the developer warned that its latest update might create several bugs. While players are currently struggling with the issues, 343 does have a plan. In a new post toHalo Waypoint,343 laid out its plans for implementing patches for every major glitch.

According to the May 17 blog post, 343 has already taken a day to test out new changes inHalo: The Master Chief Collection.The developer first addressedHalo 2: Anniversary Edition’s projectile bug. Thankfully, 343’s debug team has fixed the glitch in the game’s development builds. However, fans will have to wait for the next hotfix patch. 343 then talked about severalHalo 3bugs, like de-synced vehicles and objects. Although the developer has also fixed missing effects, and problems with longer multiplayer matches, it still hasn’t found a solution for a glitch in the Valhalla map causing crashes.
As for the developer’s next steps, 343 promised that it would be “validating” its patches today before moving onto the next problems. However, the developer has not given players a specific release date for the next hotfix update. Although this ambiguity might be frustrating to players,343 will likely release theseHalo 2: Anniversaryfixes soon.After all, these solutions are already complete. Moreover, the developer’s transparency about the debugging process is an encouraging sign. With any luck, players will continue to receive a steady stream of updates for any issues.
